Distinctive Benny Ark
Everyone likes to create silly bucket lists every now and then. Sometimes they are realistic, and at other times they’re things that one could do if you lived the life of a millionaire but then again, it is a bucket list and here goes mine; be the Host of Reality TV show, buy myself a beautiful house, Skydiving, See the northern lights, Stay at an underwater hotel in Fiji and go to New York during Christmas time
My name is Benny Ark and I am an On-Air Personality and Head Of Programs, City 105.1FMair personality who believes in the saying of Nicholas Haralambous “Plan in decades. Think in years. Work in months. Live in days.”
We had a chat with this tall glass of chocolate and below are his responses;
Q- What will you tell your 12-year-old self?
Your parents truly love you and want the best for you. Listen to them. Trust them. Love them. Honor them. But realize you will soon be on your own, and that’s a good thing.
More so, Using time wisely is one of the great skills of successful people. It’s an extremely underrated skill and not talked about enough. You never get those moments back. Use them to your advantage.
“The Trouble is, you think you have time.”
Q- Do you think relationships are overrated?
Relationships are a blessing and one of the greatest gift given to mankind. As humans we have an innate desire to connect with someone/people on different levels and that in itself is a good thing, but I think the expectations we now place or have on these relationships become unrealistic and often times ruin its purpose. It becomes overrated when you now expect the other person to take responsibility for what we are meant to be and do for ourselves.
Q- Who is your female crush?
Seyi Shay. Her style, her grace, and sex appeal is unparalleled and I don’t know what I would do if I am ever left alone with her private. Hmmm’ Just kidding, I think I do; lol!

Q- Underwear or no Underwear?
Q- Which do you prefer: Boxers, Briefs, Trunks or thongs?

Q- What have you learned about yourself since you became a celebrity?
That we are all humans, who want the same thing and we all go through the same roller coaster of life, but just have different coping mechanisms.I am also responsible for my life’s choices and the consequences those choices may bring and I am not responsible for your interpretation of my choices and decisions. I should always stay humble and grateful no matter the seemingly blessings and great relationships this has brought to me and never undermine any human irrespective of their backgrounds, beliefs, creed, and associations.
Q- What things have you learned about life and the human condition from being a celebrity?
That it’s a fact of life that people will always talk and you can’t do anything about that; because people will always have a sense of entitlement to have an opinion about you but pay them no mind and keep living your life to always out-do your current milestones and make a difference.
Q- What things in life are still a mystery to you?
My mindset and all of the social conditioning and programming we’ve been given that is averse to embracing new paradigms.
Q- What things in your life would you give up in an instant if it got you to an even better place than you are now?
A world devoid of RELIGION.
Q- What movie can you watch over and over without ever getting tired of?
Q- What’s something that will always be in fashion, no matter how much time passes?
STYLE is the one thing that will always be in fashion regardless of the passing of time. Style is an expression of yourself, it is that particular way of you doing or saying something. STYLE is you’re “DISTINCTIVE”
Q-Which celebrity do you think is the most down to earth?
You know the term “Down to earth” in our part of the world has been misconstrued to mean what it isn’t because, most down to earth people are often times the one’s society label as being arrogant, proud, and with an attitude.T hey think down to earth is you getting along with everyone, a peoples pleaser, always accessible and affable but not necessarily true.
Two celebrities I will consider down to earth would be, Will Smith and Bruna Boy.
